Before I found tattooing I created works within various visual mediums. I still feel the need to do this even though I make tattoos every day. They can be interpretations of classic motifs, but the goal is to make the image, not the tattoo.

Pixel Snake

11”x14” Ink and ballpoint pen tattooed directly to the paper, on Crescent board. I used a tattoo machine to physically tattoo the board in an effort to pixelate the image.

11”x14” Gauche, ink, and pencil on Crescent board. This piece is representative of the “tattoo artifacts” of our collective visual language. The Bert Grimm tiger is one of the most recognized tattoo designs in our current era.
